Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Odoi Jethro ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Status & Sticker Hub mobile application ("the Application").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use the Application.

Status & Sticker Hub is a multi-purpose mobile application that provides:

1. Local viewing and saving of WhatsApp status media using Android's Storage Access Framework.
2. An on-device sticker editor and conversion engine for creating custom static and animated stickers.
3. Integration with WhatsApp to export sticker packs.
4. A text status and poster creation studio.
5. In-app search and conversion of animated GIFs via third-party APIs.
6. The Type Master arcade typing minigame with local gameplay and online global leaderboards.

Free and Ad-Free Application

• The Application is provided 100% free of charge.
• There are no subscription fees, paid features, in-app purchases, or paywalls.
• The Application contains zero advertisements.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority required in your country of residence to enter into a binding contract) to use the Application. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that you have reviewed these Terms with your parent or legal guardian and that they consent to your use of the Application.

1. Optional Account Creation: Account registration is optional. You may play the Type Master minigame in Guest Mode without an account.
2. Account Registration: If you choose to register an account to sync high scores to the global leaderboard, you must provide a valid email address, a password, and a display name / handle.
3. Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated leaderboard score records at any time directly within the Application or via our external deletion portal at /legal/stickers-and-status-hub/account-deletion.

A. Your Content

1. Ownership: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights in any images, text, videos, graphics, or stickers that you import, edit, create, or export using the Application ("User Content").
2. Local Storage: All User Content is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not claim ownership of, host, or store your custom stickers or text posters on our servers.
3. Your Representations: You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have obtained all necessary licenses, rights, and permissions to use the content you import or edit.
• Your User Content does not infringe upon the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
• Your User Content does not violate applicable laws or these Terms.

B. Developer Intellectual Property

The Application, including its source code, architecture, visual design, user interface, graphics, game mechanics, sound effects, and software assets, is the proprietary property of Odoi Jethro and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes on your Android device.

When using the Application, you agree NOT to:

1. Use the Application for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
2. Create, export, or distribute content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, hateful, threatening, or promoting violence or illegal acts.
3. Choose an offensive, hateful, defamatory, or impersonating username or handle for the Type Master global leaderboard.
4. Cheat, use automated scripts, bots, modified APKs, or exploit bugs to manipulate Type Master game scores or leaderboard rankings.
5. Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or derive the source code of the Application, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
6. Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or operation of the Application's servers, Firebase services, or connected APIs.

We reserve the right to remove any leaderboard score or terminate any user account that violates this Acceptable Use Policy without prior notice.

A. WhatsApp Integration Disclaimer

• Independent Application: Status & Sticker Hub is an independent application developed by Odoi Jethro.
• No Affiliation: The Application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their affiliates.
• Third-Party Trademarks: "WhatsApp" is a registered trademark of WhatsApp LLC / Meta Platforms, Inc. Any references to WhatsApp in the Application or documentation are solely for descriptive and compatibility purposes under fair use.

B. Third-Party APIs and Content

• The Application connects to third-party services, including Google Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication and leaderboards, and the Klipy API for GIF search.
• We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content provided by third-party search APIs.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

1. THE APPLICATION WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
2. THE APPLICATION WILL OPERATE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURELY, OR ERROR-FREE.
3. THIRD-PARTY APIS (SUCH AS GIF SEARCH OR CLOUD LEADERBOARDS) WILL BE PERMANENTLY AVAILABLE.
4. SAVED OR EXPORTED CONTENT WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE DATA LOSS (YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO MAINTAIN INDEPENDENT BACKUPS OF VALUABLE MEDIA).

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING APPLICABLE LAWS OF UGANDA), IN NO EVENT SHALL ODOI JETHRO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, DEVICE DAMAGE, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

BECAUSE THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APPLICATION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO USE THE APPLICATION (WHICH IS ZERO) OR ONE HUNDRED UGANDAN SHILLINGS (UGX 100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

1. By You: You may stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it from your device. If you have created an account, you may delete it and all associated data via the in-app account settings or our external web deletion resource.
2. By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to online features (such as leaderboards and account sync) immediately and without prior notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent scoring, or if required by law.

1. Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles.
2. Dispute Resolution: In the event of any controversy, dispute, or claim arising under or relating to these Terms, the parties shall first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally by contacting odoijethro21@gmail.com.
3. Jurisdiction: If an informal resolution cannot be reached within thirty (30) business days, the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Kampala, Uganda shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any proceedings.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and make the revised version available on our official website. Your continued use of the Application after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Odoi Jethro regarding the Application.
